We're In It Music Video

I grew up in the nineties watching every episode of Boy Meets World, so there was more than a little cognitive dissonance when in 2013 Rider Strong reached out to us on twitter.  He was getting married in Oregon and did we want to play a few songs at the wedding?

They say to never meet your heroes, and I think that goes double for childhood ones, but we played the wedding (of course we did) and Rider and I became friends.  

We’ve held an ongoing creative correspondence since then: he sends me drafts of scripts and story ideas, and I send demos, recording experiments, etc.  In the summer of 2020 I sent him a demo of a song I was working on called We’re In It, about an estranged friendship, an attempted suicide and the good faith effort required of people living among people.  He helped me workshop it into what it is now - probably one of our best songs - and then he wrote and directed this science fiction masterpiece of a music video.

We're Going on Tour

There's no crystal ball and the future is anyone's guess, but it appears that the nightmare has relented just enough for us to hit the road in 2022, and we couldn't be more ecstatic to play some music for our friends across North America.
